Welcome to the Northern League Forum
The Northern Region Football League (NRFL) involves clubs from the upper half of New Zealand's North Island (involving the three northern federations: Northern Football, Auckland Football and Waikato Bay of Plenty Football). Without question, the NRFL is the strongest club league in New Zealand.
RESULTS Click on the MATCH DAY link for up to date results once the seaon begins.
LINKS The CLUBS and LINKS pages have been updated to reflect this season's divisions. The LINKS page has also had a number of additions to include many (hopefully most) of New Zealand's major clubs.
STATS This site has been running for a couple of years now. Traffic has steadily increased over this period, with it being considerably higher, of course, during the middle of each of the past two seasons than during the off-seasons. For those who are interested, below are some basic traffic figures. We don't think these numbers are too bad for a niche website:

WEB RATER The first Web Rater ranking table was published in 2010. We've found some good club websites, some ordinary sites and also, surprisingly, a couple of clubs that don't even have a website (unless we've missed something). Please have a look at the table and let us know what you think about where your club ranks - we're sure this will make for decent forum fodder!
This Site
This is an independently run site, with no club affiliations. We've set
it up as a meeting place for everyone with an interest in the NRFL. The site is built around the forum which, over time, we hope will develop into a thriving community.
The Name
We've called this site the Northern League Forum for ease of use and identification. Ask just about anyone and that's what they'll call the NRFL - the Northern League. This is, without question, an historical hangover, but not, we believe, a major one. And besides, Northern League Forum feels easier to use and runs off the tongue a little nicer than a slightly different moniker such as NRFL Forum.
